St. Augustine Beach, Florida

Some of the gang before the sun goes down.
Some of the family that are scattered around the South East. Not all are in the photo, because it is like herding cats to get everyone together.

We are on the beach in St. Augustine Florida in the summer of 2016.

Normally we gather each year and head to Anastasia Condominiums on the cost of North East Florida.

When staying in St. Augustine you need to go early in the summer before is gets to hot. There is plenty to do and see on and off the beach.

Here we are on a sailboat getting ready to leave the dock.

We cut under the Bridge of Lions on the half hour when the draw bridge is up then head out to the Atlantic Ocean. Plenty of wind and plenty of water make the day out to sea a get time by all.

Blowing My Mind

Items that I have collected, in no particular order, that  BLOW MY MIND. I have been collecting and writing down information that blows my mind. Here is a list, in no particular order, of information that I have picked up shortly after I was born in 1958. It is crazy how much information that has changed or is changing as I grow older. In no particular order: 13.7 billion years ago the universe was created. Big Bang - Only two elements were formed one million of a millionth of a millionth of a second after the big bang. Because of heat after the big bang these two elements were created. 1. 75% hydrogen  2. 25% helium 400 million years after the big bang, the stars are formed under extreme heat. The stars start to fail and explode which created carbon, oxygen, iron, nitrogen cooked and then exploded. E=MC² shows that Energy and Mass are interchangeable which is how energy turned into elements or mass. Life on earth evolved after billions of years. The earth is 4.543 billion years ol

Going-to-the-Sun Road, Montana

Tam and I rented two electric bikes and hired a guide, then set out to Going To The Sun Road. We started on the West side of Glacier National Park from Avalanche parking lot. The trip started with a small incline, and we stopped along the way for photo opts.  After a few miles, the road became steeper and the views more amazing. This is Haystack Butte.  Our guides stopped and did snow Angles. We really started going up and found out why the road is closed to cars until around late June. They remove the guardrails in the fall so the ice and snow does not damage the guardrails. They spend May and June putting the guardrails back and cleaning the road. Once at the top we ran into big horn sheep and a many deer.

Montana

We traveled to Great Falls, Montana for the wedding of Linda and Daniel Nutt. The wedding was fantastic and everything went off with a hitch. ☺️ We enjoyed meeting Linda's large extended family and were so happy to meet such wonderful people. We jumped around Great Falls and took in the sights with Rob and Reb. R & R drove all the way from Seattle Washington to see the wedding. One of the five falls that Lewis and Clark had to go around during their expedition. They pulled their long canoes around the falls. They thought it would take half a day, but it took 18 days to move all the canoes and provisions around the falls. It has been a hazy overcast for the last few days as the wildfires in Canada has been blowing the smoke down into Montana. We took off to see some sights and ended up at The Lewis and Clark Museum.  The Lewis and Clark Museum was fun, but my wife is a lot more fun. We rented a Jeep Wrangler so that we don't get stuck
